More than a work of art, Emerald Dome is a five-piece expression of longing and nostalgia.
Five individual panels come together to lead the eye towards the Dome of the Rock, offering a glimpse of a beauty that words can hardly describe.
Layers of resin, stones and coloured glass are carefully applied by hand to enrich the artwork with texture, depth and brilliance, allowing different details to emerge with every viewing angle and change in light.
Under warm lighting, golden tones become more prominent and give the piece a softer, inviting presence. Under cooler or brighter lighting, turquoise and blue tones come forward, revealing a more vibrant and luminous character.
The smallest details are part of the story. Stones, pieces of glass and decorative elements are individually placed by hand, while delicate chains surrounding the domes are carefully shaped to follow their curves and architectural lines, adding further dimension to the scene.
Handcrafted rather than mass-produced, each Emerald Dome is brought to life over many hours of careful work. Natural variations in the placement of stones, glass, resin and decorative details ensure that every piece has its own individual character.

Viewing the Artwork: Created to come alive with light, this artwork reveals shifting reflections, textures and luminous details as the lighting and viewing angle change, allowing different elements of the piece to take their turn in the spotlight.
